Tonight is World Book Night, a celebration run by The Reading Agency, bringing people together to share the joy of reading.

From 7pm tonight everyone across the UK is invited to join in dedicating an hour to books and to share on social media what they are reading to celebrate Reading Hour between 7pm and 8pm tonight.

Reading for pleasure for just 30 minutes a day improves our mental health and wellbeing. Therefore, cultivating the habit of reading is so worthwhile for our general health, developing our empathy and improving our relationships.

This evening I will be celebrating Reading Hour by finishing my latest read, A Tale for the Time Being by Ruth Ozeki. A fabulous read.
