I am delighted to support World Book Day.

As a former English Teacher for 23 years, I well understand that reading for pleasure is the single biggest indicator of a child's future success, more than family circumstances, parents' educational background or income.

That is why fostering the habit of reading for pleasure in children will improve their educational outcomes across the board as well as opening up a world of delight and entertainment which will stay with them for life.

This World Book Day my current read is So Much Life Left Over by Louis de Bernieres, the second part of a trilogy about Daniel Pitt and his family adjusting to life following the horrors of the First World War. What's your current read?
