UK GOVERNMENT MUST SUPPORT TRAVEL INDUSTRY WHILE TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS REMAIN

The UK Government’s cavalier attitude to easing Covid19 restrictions has caused widespread concern around the world and many countries may follow Bulgaria in adding the UK to a travel red list.

This will have huge consequences on the UK’s travel industry which has been hit so hard by the pandemic and faces continued disruption for the foreseeable future. I therefore reiterated my calls for sector specific support for the travel industry to help it through this challenging period.
