THREE TOWNS GROWERS WIN CALMAC FUNDING

I was so pleased that the Three Towns Growers secured funding from the CalMac Ferries Community Fund.

The Three Towns Growers' allotment and Community Garden is accessed by over 700 people every year.

This funding will support costs related to the fit out of a new 'community hub' at the Ardrossan allotments. This hub will allow groups and workshops a warm place to come and learn about cooking the produce grown onsite, and link in with the food poverty and food banks. It will also be a useful space for casual and drop-in meetings for members and volunteers.

I congratulate the Three Towns Growers for all the work they do and for securing this funding.
