SUPPORTING PEOPLE WITH MIGRAINE – MIGRAINE AWARENESS WEEK - 4th-7th September
This week – 4th -7th September, I am supporting the UK’s leading migraine charity, The Migraine Trust, in its campaign to improve migraine care for people across the UK.
One in seven people have migraine, a long-term painful condition, yet the debilitating impact of migraine is not often fully understood.
I met with The Migraine Trust and spoke to its staff about their work to improve the lives of people with migraine through raising awareness, funding vital research and campaigning for better migraine care and chatted to volunteer, Kerry Spalding, pictured below.
I support its work to improve migraine care, and to end the stigma that many people feel exists around the condition. Migraine is a long-term painful condition that affects thousands of people across North Ayrshire & Arran.
If you or a loved one is affected by migraine, you can contact The Migraine Trust’s free helpline on 0808 802 0066 for support. For more information visit migrainetrust.org
