STATE PENSION PAYMENT DELAYS UNACCEPTABLE

I continue to be contacted by many constituents who have recently reached State Pension age, only to find themselves experiencing considerable delays in receiving their pension payments.

These delays are extremely worrying given that 2.1 million pensioners are already living in poverty in the UK, and this is particularly cruel to WASPI women who saw their State Pension age rise at short notice, denying them of their rightful pension.
