ST MATTHEW'S CATHOLIC CITIZENSHIP DAY

I was delighted to once again to visit St Matthew's Academy, in Saltcoats for Catholic Citizenship Day.

I have participated in this every year since I was first elected in 2015 save for the disruption caused by lockdown.

It was lovely to again chat with the pupils and participate in a Question and Answer session where the pupils raised thoughtful and important questions.

The young people of Saltcoats are clearly engaged in the wider questions facing our country and our world and the big ethical challenges of our times.
