SO CALLED “LEVELLING UP” LEAVES SCOTLAND BEHIND

According to recent forensic analysis, conducted by Bloomberg, of the UK Government’s progress with its so-called “levelling up” agenda, there has been no overall progress in Scotland. Instead it seems the Tory Government are levelling down Scotland compared with London, which has had significant levelling up since 2019. This has served only to widen the deep disparities in the levelling-up agenda across the UK under the Tories.
