SHOCK STAGECOACH ANNOUNCEMENT

I share the shock and concern of the many constituents who have contacted me about the proposed cancellation of vital Stagecoach bus services across North Ayrshire which also provide connectivity to Glasgow.

I have now urgently written to Ms Fiona Doherty, Managing Director (West of Scotland), Stagecoach, urging a rethink of these proposals and seeking an urgent meeting to discuss this further.

For those of us who rely on these services this is a matter of grave concern.
