ROYAL BRITISH LEGION - CREDIT THEIR SERVICE CAMPAIGN

I fully support the Royal British Legion’s Credit Their Service campaign to ensure those veterans and their families who suffer pain and loss as a result of their service do not have any consequent compensation considered as income when being assessed for means-tested benefits.

This is the case with Civil Service awards and veterans should be able to expect parity of treatment. See my Early Day Motion tabled in Westminster below, urging such change.
