RESPECTFUL DIFFERENCE NEEDED

The lifeblood of our democracy is that we will have a range of views on politics. That is how democracy functions.

Regardless of how passionately we hold our views, we should do so respectfully and argue over policy instead of trying to personally tear down our opponents.

So I am deeply disappointed that the Tory candidate for Cunninghame North, Jamie Greene, is posting such spiteful anti-SNP posts on his Twitter page that has resulted in the kind of nasty personal comments about me below. We may wonder why he is choosing not to discuss the substance of any Tory policies.

As a result his page attracts the kind of comments below about me. I am not even a candidate in this election! I wonder if he is proud to have attracted such people amongst his followers?
