“RESPECT AGENDA” EXPOSED

Short-lived Prime Minister, Liz Truss kept her promise to “ignore” Scotland’s First Minister, failing to contact her even once during her term in office.

Whilst Rishi Sunak has managed this courtesy and pledged to respect the devolved governments in Scotland and Wales, he also believes that the Tories have the right to bypass Holyrood and vowed that his government will be the most active UK government north of the border in decades.

I challenged the UK Government to explain how he can claim to be respectful when his intention is to undermine the devolution settlement even more than his predecessor.
