POTENTIAL TERROR THREAT TO UK FOLLOWING TALIBAN TAKEOVER OF AFGHANISTAN

With the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan prompting fears of a resurgence in terrorist activity, I asked the Defence Secretary for an update on the terror threat faced by the UK.

It is vital that the situation in Afghanistan is closely monitored given the potential that a Taliban-led Afghan Government has for increasing terror activity stemming from the country, which could pose a serious risk to our towns and cities across the entire UK.
