NORTH AYRSHIRE WOMEN’S AID DRIVE FOR CHANGE

On Saturday, I joined North Ayrshire Women's Aid’s (NAWA) Drive for Change.

Leaving from Cunninghame House the car procession drove from Irvine to Saltcoats, Ayrshire to the Women’s Aid hub.

Thank you to Mary Beglan, Chief Officer of NAWA, for organising this high-profile event to highlight the shocking reality of domestic abuse as part of 16 Days of Activism 2022, supported by NAWA’s dedicated volunteers and staff. Thanks also to Police Scotland for supporting this event and also to the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.

This was the first event of its kind in North Ayrshire, but I am sure it won’t be the last.
