NORTH AYRSHIRE’S WINTER SHOWCASE CONCERT

Yesterday, in Saltcoats Town Hall, I enjoyed a magnificent afternoon of Christmas music played by North Ayrshire’s:

School’s Junior Orchestra with Annick Primary School’s Training Concert Staff Chamber String Ensemble School’s Senior Orchestra Music Service Staff

Performing for the first time since 2019 because of the pandemic to a packed Town Hall, the standard was exceptionally high.

Music is important to North Ayrshire schools and going from strength to strength.

With Ronan Watson, North Ayrshire Council’s Music Service Manager, who conducted, played the violin and keyboards.
