The Largs Viking Festival is back!

It was once again a beautiful sunny day for this year’s Festival and huge crowds flocked to Largs to enjoy the opening day of this wonderful Viking experience.

The live festival was cancelled for two years due to Covid19 but is back as big as before and better than ever, thanks to the admirable hard work of the Festival Committee.

As always, there was real live Vikings to meet and I even had a go at shooting a Viking bow and arrow!

At the official opening of the Festival it was great to catch up with Largs Eleanor Collier SNP Councillor with North Ayrshire Council’s Provost Cllr Anthea Dickson conducting the official opening of this year’s fabulous festivities.

If you have not yet been, it’s on until Sunday so don’t miss it.
