KILWINNING CHRISTMAS LIGHT SWITCH ON

As I have every year since I was elected, I was delighted to once again attend the Kilwinning Christmas light switch on.

There was an impressive turnout of local residents and, as always, Blair Kerr officiated with the Caledonian Piping Club piping the parade to the stage.

Blacklands Primary School Choir sang so beautifully before switching on the lights.

The Promoting Kilwinning volunteers who work so hard to organise this event must be applauded for another successful evening.

It was very exciting to meet Santa and I also enjoyed catching up with Kilwinning Councillor, Scott Davidson and admiring the lovely Christmas tree on the Main Street.
