JUSTICE MUST NO LONGER BE DENIED TO WASPI WOMEN

This morning, I raised the fact that, at long last, the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman has delivered its findings into the raising of the state pension age for women born in the 1950s.

The key finding of the report is that there has indeed been maladministration by the Department of Work and Pensions and that the UK Government must do the right thing, apologise and devise a mechanism to pay compensation for all women affected.

This must reflect their financial loss and distress as promptly as possible.

No more excuses!
