INTERNATIONAL EPILEPSY AWARENESS DAY
Today is Purple Day, International Epilepsy Awareness Day.
Epilepsy is the most common chronic neurological condition. It is estimated there are around 55,000 people with epilepsy in Scotland and roughly eight people per day are diagnosed.
Purple Day is an opportunity for Epilepsy Scotland works to encourage people to talk about epilepsy and dispel the myths and stigma attached to the condition.
