IN SOLIDARITY WITH THE PEOPLE OF UKRAINE

We have all been horrified by the scenes unfolding in Ukraine as well as struck by the determination, resilience and bravery of the Ukrainian people.

I have received hundreds of emails from constituents expressing their concern, their desire ti help and their anger at the lack of urgency in the U.K. Government’s response to the humanitarian crisis we have all seen on our televisions.

Last week I had the opportunity to discuss these, and other matters with actor Peter Egan and show solidarity with the people of Ukraine.
