HOUSEHOLDS AND BUSINESSES FACE FRIGHTENING CLIFF-EDGE IN ENERGY SUPPORT

With Citizens Advice Scotland struggling to advise the huge numbers who need advice on spiralling energy costs and the soaring cost of food, the certainty of support for households from April 2023 has been withdrawn.

I urged certainty from the UK Government for struggling households and businesses from April next year so that they need not worry about a cliff-edge in available support but, disappointingly, none was forthcoming.
