HMS DASHER 81ST ANNIVERSARY REMEMBRANCE SERVICE

I was glad to pay my respects, alongside Kenneth Gibson MSP, at the commemoration service and lay a wreath at the Dasher Memorial in Ardrossan in memory of the 379 lives lost when HMS Dasher exploded and sank in minutes in the Clyde, off the coast of Ardrossan on 27th March 1943.

We will remember them.

This tragedy is woven into the fabric of the local community.

It was good to catch up with Allan Wright, Treasurer of Royal British Legion Scotland Saltcoats, Ardrossan and Stevenston Branch.
