GENERAL ELECTION WOULD COUNTER INSTABILITY AFFECTING EVERY DEPARTMENT IN UK GOVERNMENT

The Tories love to talk down Scotland’s education system, yet the instability at the heart of the UK Government has thrown Education in England into chaos and decline.

I tried to raise this with the UK Secretary of State for Education – the fourth Secretary of State for Education since July - but my question was, unfortunately, disallowed. Yet later that same evening, BBC Reporter, Chris Mason made exactly the same point – instability in the UK Government is damaging services across the UK. Imagine the media reaction if this was happening in Scotland!
