ENGLAND’S HOSPITALS CONDEMNED AS SUBSTANDARD

The Care Quality Commission found only a few days ago that more than two thirds of all hospitals in London and more than half of hospitals in England offer substandard levels of care.

When I asked the Leader of the House what she thought had gone wrong her answer does not inspire confidence that improving this situation will be given any priority, unfortunately. Her answer was defensive and, frankly, appallingly arrogant.
