DOGS TRUST

I was delighted to say hello to the adorable Holly on my visit to Dogs Trust Rehoming Centre, where I also met some of the dedicated staff and heard about the important work they carry out.

The pandemic has seen the demand for dogs reach record levels, which has resulted in an increase in dog-related crime as puppy smugglers and irresponsible breeders have viewed this as an opportunity to make huge profits. Heartbreakingly many innocent dogs’ lives are being put at risk in the process.

As it takes care of over 15,000 dogs each year, I will continue to support Dogs Trust’s efforts to improve dog welfare.
