DEPUTE PRIME MINISTER FLOUNDERS BADLY WHEN QUIZZED ON PICKING POCKETS OF PUBLIC SERVICES
Today at Prime Minister’s Questions, Dominic Raab MP substituted for the Prime Minister who is visiting the US. Sadly, Mr Raab dithered and stumbled as he attempted to respond to the impact on vital public services' budgets, such as local government, police and fire services, as employers’ National Insurance costs are increased.
These increased National Insurance costs will impact on these budgets and so additional funding is required if cuts in these services are to be avoided.
The impact on vital public service budgets has clearly not even been considered by the UK Government which is why Mr Raab floundered, giving a rambling response which even Mr Speaker had to cut short! 👇
