DELAYS IN ENERGY SUPPORT FOR PARK AND OFF-GRID HOMES CAUSING REAL HARDSHIP

Whilst the majority of households across the UK have received some support with energy bills via the Energy Bill Support Scheme (EBSS) over the last few months, more than 200,000 park home residents and others who are off-grid or do not have a direct relationship with an energy supplier have not yet received any support whatsoever despite repeated promises from the UK Government that it will deliver this support.

Many of those who have missed out on support are elderly and vulnerable and are suffering real hardship as a result.

It is hugely disappointing that the UK Government, which is now winding down the EBSS, has still not provided any clear timetable as to when these households might receive any of the promised support which every other household is already receiving.
