CHRISTIAN AID WEEK
We are now drawing to the end of Christian Aid Week 2021.
The theme of this year’s week, and the core aim of Chirtian Aid’s work in 2021, is climate justice. Christian Aid has written a report on the impact of climate change on the UK cuppa. The UK imports 80% of its tea leaves from Kenya, and if progressive climate action is not taken soon, tea production in Kenya’s tea growing regions will fall by 39% by 2050.

With COP26 and the G7 fast approaching this year is critical in the fight against climate change. Those who have contributed the least are experiencing the worst effects, facing a double threat to their lives and livelihoods.
Thank you to all those supporting Christian Aid Week, standing in solidarity with those experiencing the worst of climate change in Kenya today.
