CELEBRATING HOSPITALITY’S CONTRIBUTION TO NORTH AYRSHIRE & ARRAN
New figures from leading trade body UK Hospitality show that hospitality is a significant part of the local economy in North Ayrshire and Arran, delivering £67 million to the economy as a whole and employing 2111 people.
I met with UK Hospitality Chief Executive, Kate Nicholls, to discuss this new data and recognise the important role hospitality, leisure and tourism plays in the economy and our communities.
Nationally, hospitality contributes £93 billion to the UK economy and is the third largest employer, providing 3.5 million people with jobs.
