CAMPAIGNING IN RUTHERGLEN & HAMILTON WEST BY-ELECTION

It felt good to participate in two canvas sessions today in the Rutherglen & Hamilton West by-election.

In the morning with the Scottish National Party (SNP)’s candidate, the fabulous Katy Loudon SNP, Cllr Carol Nugent and Andrea Cowan.

Then in the afternoon, with glorious sunshine, at the campaign hub was John Mason MSP, Fiona Hyslop MSP and loads of other folk in Team SNP.

The level of support from the public is so heartening.

On the train home, I met my old pal and SNP stalwart, Jim Cunningham. What a day!
