CAFE SOLACE DOES CHRISTMAS

As it does every year, Cafe Solace Kilbirnie celebrated Christmas in style.

I was delighted to join the team which includes SNP Councillors Cllr Margaret Johnson and Cllr Anthea Dickson to serve the Christmas guests, our Cafe Solace regulars with two consecutive Friday dining opportunities to meet demand in Bridgend Community Centre, Kilbirnie.

The feedback was very positive as the regulars enjoyed servings of soup, turkey with all the trimmings and Christmas pudding or chocolate yule log with cream. Chef, Ian, is a marvel!

Santa also turned up much to the glee of the children and Christmas cheer was the order of the day.

I look forward to continuing volunteering with Cafe Solace Kilbirnie whenever possible in 2023.
