TORIES’ LEAKED PLANS ON HOW TO THWART SCOTTISH INDEPENDENCE

Following a leaked memo which showed senior Tories are panicking over the surge in support for Scottish independence, I asked the Leader of the House of Commons, Jacob Rees-Mogg, why he thought support for independence was at record levels, and if he agreed with the view in the memo that dismissing calls for an independence vote cannot continue.

Mr Rees-Mogg only displayed just how out of touch the UK Government is with the people of Scotland. Clearly, the Tories have no answer to the growing demands in Scotland for independence. The leaked memo shows it is now understand that continuously ignoring the will of the Scottish people is completely untenable.
