CAT MICROCHIPPING EVENT

I was pleased to sponsor and attend Cats Protection virtual event to discuss the urgent need for compulsory microchipping of pet cats. It is devastating when a beloved pet goes missing – but a chipped cat has a much better chance of finding its way home.

Microchipping is the safe and permanent way to identify an owned cat, so I am delighted to support Cats Protection’s campaign for compulsory microchipping of pet cats.

With over 2.6 million unchipped cats across the UK, charities like Cats Protection have to rehome thousands of cats each year who can’t be identified. By making microchipping compulsory for cats we can get more cats home.
