BLACK LIVES MATTER DEMO

As I left my office in Westminster today, the London Black Lives Matter demo was well underway.

It was a very important but good natured demo and peacefully conducted albeit with insufficient social distancing.

The demo ended, appropriately, at the House of Commons and although Parliament was not sitting today, I hope the voices calling for equality and respect for human rights for all are heard. Racial discrimination is unacceptable in our and every society.
