WORLD BOOK DAY 2020
Today is World Book Day (UK & Ireland) and I was delighted to support the "Share a Story" campaign, which encourages all parents to read to their children for ten minutes each day.
Every year, World Book Day creates bespoke £1 books for children and young adults across the UK to promote the magic of books, the power of the imagination and the importance of reading.
Reading for pleasure can have a transformational effect on a child's literacy levels.
This year, across the UK people are invited to share one million stories through a mass participation initiative. Just register your participation and share your story throughout World Book Day month (27th Feb - 29th March) to have a chance to win prizes and join a reading revolution.
