JOHN BROWN

Yesterday was a sad day as a packed service was held in Park Church Ardrossan to bid farewell to John Brown. John was a well kent face in Ardrossan and all who knew him enjoyed his banter and cheerful manner. He will be sadly missed.

He was also a legendary Scottish National Party (SNP) stalwart and was active in the party for most of his life.

John was a great family man and I am sure all our thoughts and condolences are with his wife, Christina Brown and his family.
