TORY GOVERNMENT IN DENIAL OVER PIP ASSESSMENTS

I called on the UK Government to overhaul the PIP assessment process. Since PIP was introduced 30,000 people in Scotland have endured stressful appeals, with 21,000 people having to go to court to receive their correct PIP entitlement.

The UK Government is in denial about the damage this process inflicts on claimants and seems to think the process works well. I know from the countless conversations with my constituents that this process does not work for them and needs to be reformed.
