OPEN DOORS
I was delighted to support the Open Doors UK & Ireland 2020 event in Westminster.
Open Doors is a charity which works to support persecuted Christians across the world. The numbers of persecuted Christians continues to grow with 260 million Christians living in World Watch List countries - the top 50 countries where `Christians are at risk of high or extreme levels of persecution - this is a 6% increase from 2019.
As the number of Christians persecuted increases, so does the severity of the oppression they suffer.
There can be no doubt that any attack on religious freedom is an attack on all freedoms and human rights.
