GENERAL ELECTION 2019 - THANK YOU

Last night was a fantastic night for the Scottish National Party (SNP) across Scotland.

I am delighted that in North Ayrshire & Arran constituency, we secured 49.6% of the vote.

No candidate can win a seat on their own so I must pay tribute to all the SNP activists who chapped doors, delivered leaflets, staffed polling stations and helped get our voters out on the day. You were all fantastic and your dedication to our common cause is phenomenal. This victory belongs to all of us

I also wish to particularly thank my Election Agent, Alan Dickson for his great skills and commitment throughout this campaign. He worked very long hours throughout this campaign and remained cheerful and calm in a frenetic campaign.

Thanks must also go to my husband, Kenneth Gibson MSP for all his wonderful work, long hours, dedication and for the production of our very professional election materials.

And thanks also to the good people of North Ayrshire & Arran who have once again placed their trust in me. I will continue to work hard to represent you in Westminster as well as continuing to be an active and visible MP for you.

I have been blessed with a fantastic team which has delivered us this huge victory.

With a Tory majority in Government at UK level, we in the SNP have our work cut out to protect Scotland. We will not shrink from our task.
