Yesterday, the Employment Fayre organised by myself and Kenneth Gibson MSP in Saltcoats, Saltcoats Town Hall, was a huge success.

With employers seeking to fill vacancies at various levels of experience and skills, as well as training and apprenticeship opportunities, it was a great opportunity for attendees seeking employment.

Thank you to all the employers who attended and the many hundreds of job seekers of all ages, as well as young people preparing to leave school.

Thanks to Margaret Johnson and Cafe Solace for being on hand to provide refreshments and all the activists who worked so hard to publicise this event.

It was also good to catch up with George Eric Donohoe, Gwynne Donohoe, William Gibson, Cllr Anthea Dickson who all attended as well.

The feedback was once again extremely positive.
