CONSUMER ADVICE SCOTLAND
Recently I had a very interesting visit to Consumer Advice Scotland advice.scot contact centre Headquarters in Glasgow.
I had a very interesting meeting with some staff members including Pamela Stewart, Depute Chief Executive, and was able to learn more about the important work they do and hear directly some of the callers' concerns and consumer challenges, and some of the very constructive and important advice they were given to help them resolve their concerns and hear about their rights under the law.
This organisation provides free and independent , impartial advice to people across Scotland on all consumer issues. Its new improved service will now deliver multi-channel consumer advice to all citizens in Scotland.
Staff are knowledgeable about a wide range of issues and can signpost other services which consumers can access to solve their problems.
