HEALTH SECRETARY ADMITS THE GOVERNMENT CANNOT THINK BEYOND BREXIT

I recently asked the Secretary of State for Health if he agrees with the chair of the British Medical Association, who stated that Brexit will be disastrous for the NHS and that no type of Brexit will offer the same benefits we currently enjoy and, if he did not agree, if he could explain how Brexit would benefit the NHS services across the UK.

The Secretary of State simply repeated the mantra “we are going to deliver Brexit”. Clearly, this UK Government is running headlong into action which will damage our NHS, one of the UK’s most treasured institutions.
