HIGHLIGHTING WHITEHIRST PARK PRIMARY SCHOOL’S COMMITMENT TO THE ENVIRONMENT

During a debate on climate change this week, I took the opportunity to congratulate the pupils at Whitehirst Park Primary School in Kilwinning who have recently been working very hard to learn about climate change and the environment.

We have seen in recent weeks and months that young people across the UK and indeed the world are pressing governments to act more urgently and radically to tackle climate change. It is inspiring to see such commitment from our young people, and we must act to safeguard the world they will inherit.
