VISIT TO WHITEHIRST PARK PRIMARY SCHOOL

I really enjoyed my visit to Whitehirst Park Primary School in Kilwinning this week.

This children had made films of all the little things we can do to improve our environment which can add up to a big change.

They shared what they had learned about what we can all do to reduce pollution and keep our towns as clean as possible and improve our air quality.

This was part of the school’s participation in UNICEF UK’s annual youth campaign that encourages young people and children to speak out about children’s rights.

Afterwards, I enjoyed a cuppa with a lovely cake, decorated with a UNICEF logo.

Thank you for the invite, I really enjoyed seeing all the hard work of the children on this important issue, supported by the hard working staff.
