NORTH AYRSHIRE SCHOOLS SENIOR CONCERT BAND

I had the pleasure of attending the final run through of the competition pieces of the North Ayrshire Schools' Senior Concert Band in Kilwinning Academy last night before they set off for the National Concert Band Festival final in Manchester with the indomitable Mrs May Murray.

I wish them all the luck in the world. The Senior Concert Band has competed in the National Concert Band Festival for the past 6 years and have an outstanding record at the competition and I am sure 2019 will also be an excellent year for them.

The musical talent and dedication of these young musicians was very clear to all in attendance. The teachers who work so hard with these young people and all the supportive parents and families of these young musicians must be very proud of them indeed! They are a credit to North Ayrshire.
