THE CAMPAIGN AGAINST UNFAIR DELIVERY CHARGES CONTINUES
I have again raised the issue of unfair delivery charges for people who live in rural areas, particularly island communities like Cumbrae and Arran, who continue to be routinely penalised for where they live.
It really is time the UK Government addressed this issue and adopted a set of standards for deliveries to every corner of the UK. With the sad decline of our high streets and the ever increasing dependence on online shopping, this discrimination puts island consumers at a real disadvantage.
