FYBROMYALGIA MEETING

I had a very constructive meeting in Ardrossan today with Alison Mccoll and Sharon Turnbull from FFU-Scotland CIC. Fybromyalgia is a much misunderstood condition and does not have the societal recognition it deserves and is a complex fluctuating condition which cannot easily fit into tick-box assessments. Raising public awareness of this condition is important, as is ensuring our welfare system is fully cognisant of its debilitating effects.
