PRIME MINISTER UNABLE TO GUARANTEE ESSENTIAL MEDICAL SUPPLIES POST BREXIT
February 12, 2019
Having had no useful answer on this issue last week from the Leader of the House of Commons, I asked the Prime Minister today about the arrangements for medical supplies post Brexit. With only 45 days remaining until the UK leaves the EU, this is of great concern to many of my constituents, who live with serious health conditions and are wondering what will happen to the medication upon which they rely after Brexit. The Prime Minister was unable guarantee that those with serious health conditions would not be impacted by any disruption to supply. I am deeply concerned about all to those whose health relies upon the seamless provision of medication. I will continue to pursue this important matter.
