LABOUR’S DERELICTION OF DUTY ON BREXIT

I asked the Labour frontbench spokesperson to clarify, if we get have the General Election that Labour are seeking to bring about, whether their position going into that election would be to support Brexit or oppose it. She told me that “at the moment” their position is to negotiate an improved deal. It is crystal clear that, at the very time when strong opposition voices are so needed, Labour are deliberately taking no position on Brexit, and are content to sit back, leaving the chaos to unfold around us all. What a dereliction of duty towards the biggest issue facing the UK since the Second World War.
