LARGS VIKING FESTIVAL 2018

I had a great time at the The Viking Festival in Largs on Saturday.

Once again this year the costumes were wonderfully authentic with lots to see and do.

I enjoyed meeting up with friends old and new such as Stuart Rumble, from the Royal British Legion in Largs, and 98 year old Jack Ransom, author of “The Scottish Cockney”, a veteran of the The Royal Artilleryand the Burma Railway.

A lovely day out, as always, and a real showcase event for the lovely town of Largs.
